Home Destinations Zagreb

Zagreb is the capital of Croatia and the country's only large city away from the coast, which gives it an everyday character quite unlike the Adriatic holiday crowds. The upper town holds medieval streets and the coloured tiled roof of St Mark's Church, while the lower town runs on wide boulevards and a chain of parks left from the Austro-Hungarian period. The city is also known for its small but unusual museums. Turkish Airlines and Pegasus fly direct from both Istanbul airports, and the flight from Istanbul takes about 2 hours 15 minutes.
